About Me
Hi, I’m Chen - a mixing engineer, guitarist, and lifelong music lover. Music has been part of my life since childhood, when I was first exposed to jazz and classical records at home. My earliest experiment was with a small keyboard as a kid, but it was the guitar at age 14 that truly sparked my passion. What started with experimenting on a simple recorder and diving into music theory quickly turned into a passion for shaping sound. Over the years, I taught myself through books, endless trial and error, and, of course, countless hours behind the DAW.

I love taking raw tracks and sculpting them into something that feels alive, emotional, and powerful. For me, mixing isn’t just about technical polish - it’s about creating a space where every detail supports the story of the song.
I’ve had the privilege of working across different genres, from jazz records to R&B and rock productions. Each project challenges me to listen deeper and adapt my approach so the artist’s vision always comes first. Some of my biggest inspirations are mixers like Tchad Blake, Dave Pensado, and Jaycen Joshua, who remind me that mixing is as much an art as it is a craft.

I believe in clear communication, honesty, and making the process enjoyable and creative. My goal is always the same: to help your music connect with people the way you imagined when you first wrote it.
